
The Challenge
As Weightron expanded its solutions portfolio, they recognised a need to communicate the capabilities of their systems more effectively, especially products like their Itemised Waste Management (IWM) system, which combines hardware, software, and data analytics into a powerful but complex package.
The team needed a creative agency that could distil this complexity into digestible, sector-relevant messaging, particularly through high-impact video content to support online visibility and sales conversations. Beyond that, they were also seeking a reliable, design-focused partner that could deliver on-brand, professional materials across all touchpoints, without the overhead of managing multiple agencies or freelancers.
Weightron needed a partner who could work flexibly, understand the intricacies of their offering, and consistently deliver quality creative outputs at pace.


What We Did
Our partnership began with the creation of a suite of animated and live-action explainer videos to showcase the IWM system. We started with in-depth pre-production workshops to understand the system’s functionality, target sectors, and messaging priorities. Working closely with the Weightron team, we developed detailed scripts and storyboards that translated technical processes into easy-to-understand visual narratives.
Filming took place on-site at Weightron’s Chesterfield facility, allowing us to capture real-world footage of the IWM system in action. This was seamlessly combined with 2D animated sequences, which clarified complex data flows and illustrated the user journey from waste capture to reporting. The resulting video suite included sector-specific edits, tailored for different industries and embedded directly into product pages, sales presentations, and email campaigns.
Following the success of the video project, Weightron engaged us on a monthly graphic design retainer, cementing a longer-term creative partnership. Under this agreement, we function as an extension of their internal marketing team, delivering a wide range of design services across sales, operations, and internal comms.
We’ve designed a full set of technical datasheets, detailed product brochures, branded internal resources, sales flyers, and digital outreach assets. Each piece is created to reflect Weightron’s brand consistently, with a strong focus on visual clarity and practical functionality. Working on a rolling monthly basis allows us to prioritise urgent tasks, plan proactively, and bring consistency to campaigns without time lost to onboarding or brief clarification.
Each month, we collaborate with the Weightron team to identify upcoming needs, provide creative recommendations, and adapt our support to meet evolving requirements, from product launches and industry events to internal training or stakeholder communication.
The Result
The explainer videos have had a significant impact on Weightron’s product communications, particularly for their Itemised Waste Management system. By combining live-action authenticity with the clarity of animation, the videos offer a polished, sector-relevant explanation of a complex technical product, increasing engagement, boosting website dwell time, and providing the sales team with versatile tools for in-person and virtual demos.
As for the ongoing design work, Weightron now benefits from a dedicated creative team on tap, without the need to manage multiple suppliers or develop every brief from scratch. This consistency and speed has helped them stay responsive to market needs, ensuring that high-quality materials are always available when needed, whether that’s a last-minute flyer for an event or a detailed technical document for a key tender.
